Nigeria Infrastructure Advisory Facility
The Nigeria Infrastructure Advisory Facility (NIAF) is a technical advisory facility funded by the UK Department for International Development (DFID). The NIAF was established to enhance the Government of Nigeria’s capacity to better plan, finance and operate infrastructure delivery at the Federal and State level.
STS supports the NIAF as a subcontractor to Adam Smith International (ASI) on a number of programs that facilitate infrastructure reform by improving access to technical assistance in response to infrastructure issues encountered by Nigeria’s public and private sectors. We have completed a range of task orders to create specific web-based capabilities for these programs. These task orders include:
- Subsidy Reinvestment and Empowerment Program (SURE-P) – We developed a website that provides an engagement point for citizens to connect with the SURE-P program, monitor how funds are used, and learn about progress of projects under SURE-P management.
- Nigerian Federal Ministry of Finance – Graduate Internship Scheme (FMF-GIS) – We developed a website that allows 100,000+ Nigerian graduates to register with a custom web-based system to be matched with an anticipated 10,000 employers. We developed database specifications for worker enrollment, activity logging, and payment processing.
- FMF District Roads – We developed a custom system for the FMF’s District Roads Pilot Program that links biometric enrollment and works-monitoring equipment used in remote locations to the District Roads system in order to collect and monitor this data in real-time.
