U.S. Army Peacekeeping and Stability Operations Institure

Custom Software Development and IT Support

Nsite developed and implemented the Stability Operations Lessons Learned and Information Management System (SOLLIMS) as the program of choice to meet the Knowledge Management requirements of the U.S. Army Peacekeeping and Stability Operations Institute (PKSOI). SOLLIMS uses an open-access, public domain architecture to support accessibility and encourage data submission by the DoD, other USG agencies, NGO, IO, multi-national, academic and private sector practitioners and partners within the stability operations community.  After delivering SOLLIMS in 2009, Nsite has continued to support the IT needs of PKSOI through a variety of task orders including:

  • e.SOLLIMS – We successfully transformed SOLLIMS into a functional mobile application that performs all functions of the original system while giving users the ability to capture Observations, Insights and Lessons (OIL) and view reference libraries in low or no bandwidth environments. This application is available on both the Apple and Google Play stores
  • IT Specialist – Nsite serves as the content organizer for IT elements/systems within PKSOI including technical planning, testing, implementation, and management of Internet, intranet, and extranet activities.  We also provide systems/applications development and technical management for the PKSOI website and are the principal data administrator for PKSOI’s internal SharePoint portal
  • SOLLIMS Maintenance – We continue to maintain and enhance SOLLIMS in development and production environments. This includes the application of patches and upgrades for the underlying software and the integration of third-party products such as FckEditor, CFBB Forums, Microsoft IIS, and other Web and XML Services
