Thingworx Developer

The Thingworx Developer will focus primarily on developing Thingworx applications to simplify, streamline and improve user experience accessing and processing information from the PTC Windchill PLM system. Applications will also be developed that provide streamlined access to detailed product information retrieved from multiple systems of record. Must communicate well with users and management regarding task and project information.

Responsibilities

• Define requirements for new Thingworx applications
• Create and present mockups
• Develop and deploy solutions
• Respond to user feedback to update and continuously improve deployed applications
• Monitor, measure, and tune application performance
• Support and perform code deployments and configuration changes
• Create and maintain documentation
• Ensure Compliance with applicable governmental laws, rules, and regulations, both in the United States and internationally

Qualifications

• Bachelors’ degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science or technology related field
• Following must have Experience

• 3-5 years hands-on experience on using ThingWorx platform, Things, Thing Templates, Thing Shapes, Data Shapes.
• 2 -4 years Hands on experience with Visualization / UI components using Mashups, Gadgets & Dashboards
• 2 – 4 years’ experience in ThingWorx Navigate, Thing Worx ODATA Connectors, ThingWorx interaction with Windchill.
• Core Java, Java collections. Programming languages (Java, JavaScript/NodeJS, Angular JS, VBNET, ADONET, C),
• Java Script, SQL scripting, JSON, XML and Rest API (Application Programming Interface)
• Multiple data stores (PostgreSQL, H2, Cassandra, SQL.)

• Highly Desirable Experience
  • ThingWorx Flow,
  • Analytics,
  • Vuforia AR/VR Platform
• Excellent communication skills
• Well organized, detail oriented, and team player capable of working in a deadline dictated environment
• Ability to work and collaborate effectively in a remote environment
• US Citizen, ability to obtain a Secret clearance
